Q. What book that hasn't been turned into a movie (yet) would you most like to see make it to the big screen, and who would you like cast as your favorite character?
Well my bestie and I have been dying for
Uglies to be made into a movie. Forever. We have this dream that we'll be cast in it as Shay and Tally. She'll be Tally and I'll be Shay. I'm the meaner one ;) I hear a movie is in the works, but who knows. Obviously, if my dreams couldn't come true, I'd like to see Hailee Steinfeld from True Girt as Tally, but she's the only one I'm dead set on. Otherwise I have a hard time picking, since characters are already so well established in my mind!
What's your answer? Leave a comment with your link so I can check it out :)
I really enjoyed this series as well and I imagine they will eventually make it into a movie!

I haven't read this one yet, but I really should! I love that you want yourselves casted, that's just awesome. (I love when I can relate so well to a book that I can see myself as part of it)

Hi, I'm Izzy and I'm stopping by for Follow Friday! That's a great choice - I can't believe I didn't think of the Uglies series, since I love it so much. If there was a movie version, I would definitely go and see it. It'd be interesting to see how they do the character appearance changes.

I've heard good things about Uglies. It sounds like something my boyfriend would love to read. :p Hmm... I guess I'd better get him to. If it came out as a movie he'd ignore the book.
ReplyDeleteYou are the first one that I have seen with this on your list. I heard a lot of great things about it, but it is still on my shelf waiting for a read. New follower. Thanks for stopping by.

It is very cool that you and your bud have cast yourselves - it just shows how much the book means to you and how involved you could get in it. If I knew nothing else about the book that would be enough to make me intrigued.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping through Anna.

I feel like I'm the only one who hasn't read this series! And Im a huge dystopian fan so I dont know whats holding me back! Maybe if its really being made into a movie it'll motivate me more to read the series before the movie actually comes out!
