Happy Halloween everybody!!
I'm not a big fan of Halloween, scary stories and scary movies seriously terrify me, but it seems like a lot of my fellow bloggers really love Halloween so I couldn't neglect the holiday! Sadly, I'll be spending my Halloween writing essays and working on presentations for the week, so no candy or fun for me :( But, I want to hear from you guys, so I have a Halloweeny question for you, and I'd love to hear your responses!
What is your favorite Halloween memory?
My favorite Halloween memory is from when I was still in elementary school, because my school always put on an awesome haunted house. All the classrooms in the school were connected, because it was such a small school, so each room was decorated with a different theme (mummies, witches, death dinner, stuff like that). You would start at one end and travel all the way through with people jumping out at you, smoke machines going, scary music! It was so much fun! I even got to dress up and be part of it a couple times!
So that's my favorite memory, what's yours?!

That sounds like so much fun. I remember our elementary school used to put on a Halloween party, where we could bob for poison apples, have a cup of witches brew, do a spider "cake" walk, and go through haunted classrooms. I loved it as a kid.
ReplyDeleteAw, that's so cute! That sounds like a great Halloween memory.
ReplyDeleteMy personally best is the year that I spent Halloween at the bookstore with one of my best friends. We really just sat and talked, but we had a good time, and then when I went home, I got a good cup of hot cocoa and watched The Nightmare Before Christmas (my Halloween tradition).
Happy Halloween!

My favorite Halloween memories are tied to the year I worked for a haunted hayride, as a human sacrifice gone terribly, terribly wrong. It was so much fun rising from the dead and chasing people through the woods (they had to get off the hayride half-way through, and make it back on their own.) I've never had so much fun!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite was when I was 17.. My best friend had a boyfriend who was a total jackass, like seriously king of jerkville, so we took him out to the pet cemetery late at night. The cemetery was close to where I boarded my horses, so I was familiar with it, but it was completely surrounded by corn fields and walnut groves. We left him there but went back about an hour later and he had been crying. haha... mean, I know, but we still laugh about it. Btw, he was 20, so it's not like he was a kid or anything. There was a lot of other stuff that went on that night too, but I won't mention those >;D
ReplyDeleteThat sounds awesome! I don't think I have a single favourite memory. Halloween is just an awesome holiday that is different every year. I really like Halloween at my HS though. Everyone dresses up and this year we held a haunted house for the 9th graders!
ReplyDeleteHappy Halloween :)
Oh my gosh, that sounds like so much fun! I'm actually a HUGE scaredy cat when it comes to those kinds of things, so I just like to be the one jumping OUT at people rather than being the one who gets jumped AT! LOL! x)
ReplyDeleteBut my favourite Halloween memory? Tricking two years ago, hands down! I can't even begin to explain the awesomeness that was that Halloween, but I'll just say that me and my friends had a blast! :)
Happy Halloween to you too, Anna! I hope it's AMAZING! ♥
It would have to be the first and only time I dressed up for Halloween. See, my parents were crazy strict and it was a forbidden holiday, but when I was about 14 I talked them into letting me go with some friends on a "trick or canning" walk to collect food for the local foodbank. (Good cause; they couldn't say no. Hey. I knew how to work the system! lol) So, my two best friends and I dressed up as Snap, Crackle and Pop. Our costumes were HORRIBLE, but we had tons of fun, and I'll never forget it...
ReplyDeletewalking here with a smile. take care.. have a nice day ~ =D
