Teaser Tuesday [17]: Fever and Top Ten Tuesday [4]

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

This week's teaser is from... Fever by Lauren DeStefano
"I was born into a world that was already dying; I belong to it. I will take it over holographic oceans and spinning diagrams of beautiful houses. Because even if the lie is beautiful, the truth is what you face in the end." (278)
*This quote was taken from an ARC copy. Any quotations should be compared to the finished copy*
Oh. My. God. This book is seriously amazing! Lauren DeStefano's writing is FANTASTIC!! And the story is just so heartbreaking! I can't wait for the next one!!

  14. Sadly I'm slacking and haven't read any of those books even though I'm dying to. You should read Daimon by Jennifer Armentrout I'm reading it now its a really good short story that takes place before Half Blood. Goes more into Alex's life. I'm hoping to get Obsidian for Christmas because there is a seriously hot alien on the cover lol. Clockwork Prince I'm so dying to get but I think I'm gonna splurge on a signed edition and I really want Will's letter.
