Teaser Tuesday [25]: Partials

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

This week's teaser is from... Partials by Dan Wells!
"The youngest human being on the planet, as far as anyone knew, would be fourteen years old in a month. It was possible that there were other survivors on other continents, but no one had ever been able to make contact with them, and over time the refugees on Long Island had come to believe that they were alone. That their youngest was the world's youngest. His name was Saladin" (13).

  11. Lots of questions raised: Why aren't there any young children? What happened 14 years ago? Good choice for a teaser. This sounds like a great story. I'll be watching for the book's release.
