Waiting on Wednesday: Reached by Ally Condie

****"Waiting on Wednesday" is a weekly event hosted by Jill at the Breaking The Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.****

Expected Publication Date: November 13th, 2012
Publisher: Dutton Children's Books
Page Count: 384
Cassia faces the ultimate choices in the long-anticipated conclusion to the New York Times bestselling Matched Trilogy.

After leaving Society and desperately searching for the Rising—and each other—Cassia and Ky have found what they were looking for, but at the cost of losing each other yet again: Cassia has been assigned to work for the Rising from within Society, while Ky has been stationed outside its borders. But nothing is as predicted, and all too soon the veil lifts and things shift once again.

In this gripping conclusion to the #1 New York Times bestselling Matched Trilogy, Cassia will reconcile the difficulties of challenging a life too confining, seeking a freedom she never dreamed possible, and honoring a love she cannot live without.

Why I Can't Wait: Although I didn't love Crossed in the same way I loved Matched, I am definitely excited to find out what is going to happen in the final book!! It's always depressing when a trilogy comes to an end, but I think Ally Condie is going to have something CRAZY awesome in store for us :)

What are you waiting on this week?

  9. Great choice! I liked Matched, and wasn't crazy about Crossed, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the trilogy will have an awesome ending. And, of course, the cover is as gorgeous as the others, so obviously I must own it. :)

  10. I am really looking forward to this one too. I didn't really like Crossed either, but I think it was just suffering second book syndrome. Reached is the conclusion so hopefully it's awesome!! I freaking love the cover though. I have a thing for red on covers.

  14. I agree...I really liked Matched a lot. But Crossed was not nearly as good...it was a bridge between the two books. At least that's what i'm hoping.

  17. Reached is the third in the Matched trilogy. In this final installment, Condie will answer most of those pesky questions the reader has been asking and explanations to the mysteries of the Society and Rising. Happy days are ahead!
