Page Count: 304 pages
It was supposed to be the weekend of their lives—an exclusive house party on Henry Island. Best friends Meg and Minnie each have their reasons for being there (which involve T.J., the school’s most eligible bachelor) and look forward to three glorious days of boys, booze and fun-filled luxury. Why I Can't Wait: There's just something about this book that makes me want to curl up under the covers late at night and read it by myself in my room... This seriously sounds SO CREEPY!!! I definitely can't wait to get my hands on a copy!!
But what they expect is definitely not what they get, and what starts out as fun turns dark and twisted after the discovery of a DVD with a sinister message: Vengeance is mine.
Suddenly people are dying, and with a storm raging, the teens are cut off the from the outside world. No electricity, no phones, no internet, and a ferry that isn’t scheduled to return for two days. As the deaths become more violent and the teens turn on each other, can Meg find the killer before more people die? Or is the killer closer to her than she could ever imagine?

A bunch of teenagers stuck on an island with a murder sounds creepy! Very interested in what will happen.

I haven't read McNeil's other book, but I added this one as soon as the synopsis was released - I love the creepy books! Great pick!

ReplyDeleteMy W.O.W.
I'm definitely looking forward to this book since I loved Gretchen's POSSESS book. The only thing with this book is that it sounds a lot like the Harper's Island tv show minus the whole killing spree at a wedding. :P
ReplyDeleteIt really does look super creepy!! I'm really curious to see how it all pans out.

Ten looks great - I love creepy and mystery in YA. I haven't seen enough of it. This premise reminds me of the old Christopher Pike books I used to read back in the day!
