
Last year I wasn't aware of all the awesome giveaway hops that I Am A Reader, Not A Writer puts on, and I missed out on this one! But this year I am totally participating and I'm so excited to see what everyone has up for giveaway! I'll be giving away a whole box of HarperTeen titles that are incredibly spooky so keep your fingers crossed!

Well it's totally not spooky, but when I think fall & Halloween, I think Harry Potter. Not sure why, but I do!

ReplyDeleteI haven't found a favorite spooky read at this age but when I was younger I used to always read the Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark series by Alvin Schwartz.

I don't read a lot of spooky books, but I took a Vampire Lit. class as an undergrad and we had to read Salem's Lot by Stephen King. That book is seriously creepy!

ReplyDeleteAnything by Stephen King or Dean Koontz generally creeps me out (in a good way!). For this Halloween "season," I just finished Long Lankin by Lindsey Barraclough which was delightfully creepy. :)

However, I do enjoy getting the beejesus spooked out of me every now and then ;) I've been reading a few Goosebumps, and I remember how much I liked them when I was younger, even if I had to walk around at night with a flashlight for a few days, lol!
