I went to ALA Midwinter!!!! It was ridiculously exciting and overwhelming and OMIGOSH! I spent 3 days running around the exhibit hall and hanging out with awesome authors and fellow bloggers and now I am home, and sore, and dying. And waiting for my boxes to show up!
Some of the highlights of my trip definitely include meeting Lenore Appelhans, Vy from
Vys Blog, Jennifer from
Novel Thoughts, and Christin from
Portrait of a Book!

Very cool! How fun to meet bloggers you only know from online. I love the book community.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting!! Meeting other bloggers and authors is so fun!! You got some really great books!! I'm totally drooling over Ashes on the Waves. :) Hope you enjoy them all!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you had fun! How was the flight??? I can't wait to hear what you think about Ashes on the Waves! (I'd love to borrow it, too, after you've read it (if that's okay with you)--I'll pay for shipping!)
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a blast! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you had a great time! I've yet to meet any fellow bloggers in person but I'm hoping that I get to a convention next year at least. I hope you enjoy your new books and get some rest!
ReplyDeleteI am excited about reading Jennifer Brown's new book too! I love her writing! Glad you got home safe and sound and now a veteran of flying alone! Wheee!!!
ReplyDeleteMidwinter was my first "book convention" last year and it was so fun and overwhelming. Glad you had such a great time!

But seriously, you got to meet so many fabulous people, Anna! I'm so excited for you seriously. I'd LOVE to meet Vy- that chuck is seriously awesome. Same goes for Lenore! I've been to a single ALA event, and I am crossing my fingers for Annual this year, although I don't think it'll happen. But you got some lovely books!! Seriously, I'm so jealous of Siege & Storm, I like, can't even. I hope that it's even better than the first!
